As children, we all believed we were invincible, taking risks was part of the play. Jem, Scout, and Dill are no different. From riding inside a tire to sneaking into the neighbor's yard, these three friends had their share of adventures. Take a moment and share the things you did as a child that would have made your parents cringe.

Starting with myself, in our backyard we had a canal. The filthiness of it didn't bother the neighborhood children, and every day we congregated there to play 'Star Wars'. Of course, necessary part of the play was wading through muddy water up to our knees, and swinging over the expanse on our homemade rope swing, in imitaion of Luke Skywalker. Of course, now I look back with the eyes of a mom and shudder at the thoughts of what was lurking under that icky water; and how frail that rope really was.
