WITH DD gone, JKR mentioned Prof. Mcgonnigal was too old so who became Headmaster?
OR do we not know, yet?

Maybe one of the younger teachers who were at Hogwarts when Harry was at school.
Maybe Flitwick, Sprout or maybe someone from the Ministry.

I think maybe Flitwick, he's a fair teacher and seems to know a lot of stuff. I don't think it would be a teacher we don't know much about, as they're probably the less experienced ones... I don't know could be wrong there. Does anyone think Neville would ever become Headmaster??

Flitwick seems a likely guess. *imagines him standing atop many thick books with outstretched arms, sqeaking the Hogwarts welcoming speech biggrin.gif * I don't think Neville would become headmaster very soon, maybe when he was older but not at the beginning of his teaching. Hmmm...

Currently, McGonagall I would say. She not too old yet! (She would just be too old by the epilogue).

I am thinking one of the older Hogwarts Students, the ones who are above Harry. I am sure Professor McGonagall had plenty of life in her, even in the Epilogue, so I hope she was in her rightful place, as Headmistress, for a few decades. For some reason, I can see Percy as the Headmaster ... ponder.gif
