There are so many things I want to make. I have made the time turner. I would like to try and do some cross stitching. I have attempted to knit and crochet, but do a few liunes and give up. I haven't quite learned how to thread my sewing machine yet, so sewing is out until then... The time turner was definately very fun and cool to make! I made one to send to my craft swap partner on our yahoo group!

I really want to make some of those charms that we have been discussing on the yahoo group. I didnt see the instructions on here yet. The charms look almost identical to those made by WB in 2001. Very cool house charms!

Yes they really are... Plus marble crafts are so easy to do. You can make many variations of them : keychains, magnets, etc. And all you need is those clear stone you put in fish tanks, and they are incredibly cheap.

I took one look at the crafts section, and I want to do ALL of it!!!!! Actually, I'm really getting my knitting skills up to par, so I can knit a school sweater. I just learned to knit a few months ago, so I know I'm ambitious, but I was the same way when I learned quilting. That's just how I do things, dive in head first and learn the hard way. The one pattern I wish I could find was an adult version of the Weasley sweaters (like Ron's "R" sweater). If anyone knows of one, could you PM me???

There's a Weasley sweater pattern coming up soon... Just be a little patient and it'll come wink.gif

I learned to knit just so I could have a Ravenclaw scarf. That thought me the knit stich. Now I'm learning to purl and increase decrease with a Ravenclaw vest. I've done the back and about 32 rows on the front. Hopefully it'll be done by the time I get to Vegas!

I'm currently collecting fabric to make a Harry Potter quilt. I'm working on some of my own designs to make the quilt squares, like a broom, snitch, etc. I have a lot of star material and I actually found some that looks like gray bricks so the back will be like a castle wall. I have a pattern that just tells me how big to make the pieces, the rest I'm doing in my head. So far so good.

After having read the prequel, I want to make a T-shirt with a golden phoenix on - like the ones James and Sirius were wearing. I think it could be really cool, people who know will recognize it while others might just look at is as a regular T-shirt :-)

That would be a cool idea AstridB. Do you know how to stencil? That would probably be your best option to get the gold color. If not, I guess you could always go with a golden yellow and an iron on.

The next project on my to do list is to make a Hedwig Plush if I can find the right type of material to use. I also want to get working on making a Dress that I designed. I also want to make a grindylow. I need to read the description in the book again and hopefully I can base my design off of that. oh and if the Hedwig plush comes out ok then I might think about making a Pigwidgion and Errol plush too. I have lots of things I want to do. and not enough time to do them in....

Edit to Add:

I also have this Idea for HP dolls with their own broom sticks too. But I need to hatch that one out a little better.

I agree with you completely, mixymo! I've been wanting to make some Hurray for Hufflepuff socks for quite some time. Hmmm, I think you've just given me the sock bug again!!

I've never actually knitted a whole sock before (yep, not even a singular sock!) and I'd love to learn.
I also want to make Lykkefanten's socks, I've had my eye on the Such a Slytherin pattern for ages!

Maybe a knit-a-long is in order?
