Alright, so I personally believe that the 1st part of book 7 could pass with a PG- PG-13 rating.

It's the second part I am concerned about. I really want them to be "true" to the books, but the more I think about it, the more "true" they are, the higher rating the movie should be. I was thinking of it even being rated "R". Here are my reasons why....

1. Snape gets half of his neck ripped of by a snake. Not only that, but Harry has to look him in the face as blood, and snapes memories are flowing from his head. Creepy...

2.Hermione is tortured, sure they COULD not show this on screen, but I think it is more emotional if they do, like, little cut scenes. It's also been debated that she was almost raped by Greyback.

3. Nagini comes out of a dead women's body.

4. Many deaths in this movie, George has his ear blown off. Crabbe is burned alive, Dobby is stabbed (Harry has to pull the knife out). Dead bodies all over the floor, when they stack them. Wormtail chokes himself to death.

There might be others, but these are the one's I thought of. I think if they really show all these it would have to be rated "R" especially, the torture scene. I would even be fine if they made an "unrated" verison when the movies came out on DVD. What do you guys think?

I think PG-13 ,mainly because I don't want to sit in front of a six year old and watch the Ginny /Harry 'Happy 17th' kiss or the Hermione/Ron kiss with them going 'Ewwwwww,Gross' or watch Kings Cross when Harry wakes up nude them going in to a fit of giggles (as my 5 year old niece has to show me every time we watch a movie with torso nudey or kissing in it)
Maybe it's just my being 15 and wanting to watch Hermione and Ron kiss in peace
