yea i love all those! fred and george are hilarious! they all have their funny moments tho.

I laughed for ages when ron said "i dont care if my tea-leaves spell die ron die - i'm chucking them in the bin where they belong! love it!! x

I swear this is the funniest book in the series.

Jo had so many great lines, and every time Fred and George appear makes it amazing.

i like after the divination exam when ron says

"I dont care if my tea leaves spell die ron die, i'm chucking them in the bin where they belong."

and pretty much anything with fred and george is hilarious i like fred saying

Wasn't this the book where Ron tells his examiner about the ugly old warlock with the wart on his nose, only to realize he was describing his examiner's reflection in the crystal ball? That part gets me everytime! lol.gif

I also thought it was hysterical in the DoM when Ron says-

This books is extremely funny, although I must admit, I missed most of it until I reread it.

oh, OOTP is hilarious, i have many favorites:

**FUNNY COMMENTS (ALL)**
'This is night, Diddykins. That's what we call it when it goes all dark like this.' (love this one!!!)

'Oh, Ron, how wonderful ! That's everyone in the family.' 'What are Fred and I, next-door neighbours ?' said George indignantly. (hilarious!)

'My head of house said I lacked certain necessary qualities.' 'Like what ?' said Ginny. 'Like the ability to behave myself,' said Tonks. (LOL!)

'I'll make Goyle do lines, it'll kill him, he hates writing,' said Ron happily. 'I ... must ... not ... look ... like ... a ... baboon's ... backside.' (brilliant! especially luna laughing her head off afterwards!)

'Well, I dreamed I was playing Quidditch the other night,' said Ron. 'What d'you reckon that means ?' 'Probably that you're going to be eaten by a giant marshmallow or something.' ( lol.gif *cracks up*)

'Have a biscuit Potter.' 'Have - what?' 'Have a biscuit.' (perfect timing!! lol)

'Let's say I dreamed I was ... drowning Snape in my cauldron. Ron chortled as he opened his Dream Oracle. 'OK, we've got to add your age to the date you had the dream, the number of letters in the subject ... would that be "drowning" or "cauldron" or "Snape" ?' (LOL!)

'I can't see any boils,' said Ron, staring at the twins. 'No, well, you wouldn't,' said Fred darkly, 'they're not in a place we genearlly display to the public. 'But they make sitting on a broom a right pain in the - ' (HAhaHA)

'Hagrid, it's us!' Harry called. 'Shoulda known!' said a gruff voice. 'Bin home three seconds ...' (always makes me laugh!)

'Mistletoe,' said Luna dreamily. Harry jumped out from under it. 'Good thinking,' said Luna seriously. 'It's often infested with Nargles.' ( tongue.gif )

'Are you that bad at kissing?' 'Dunno, maybe I am,' said Harry worried. 'Of course you're not,' said Hermione absently. 'How do you know?' said Ron very sharply.' (lolololololololololololol)

'One person can't feel all that at once, they'd explode.' 'Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon, doesn't mean we all have,' said Hermione nastily. (this is a classic, isnt it?!)

'Well, hello there! I expect you'd like my autograph, would you?' 'Hasn't changed much, has he?' Harry muttered to Ginny who grinned. (LOL)

'Ah,' said Dumbledore gently, 'yes. Yes, I thought we might hit that little snag'

'You know, Minister, I disagree with Dumbledore on many counts ... but you cannot deny he's got style ...' (indeed!!!)

'May I offer you a cough drop, Dolores ?' (i LOL'd so hard at this one i was like ROFLMAO)

'If Longbottom suffocates, it will mean a lot of tedious paperwork and I am afraid I shall have to mention it on your reference if ever you apply for a job.' (one of my ultimate favorites!!!! lol)

'I s'pose we're going to ride on the back of the Kacky Snorgle or whatever it is?' Ron demanded. (haha)

**FUNNY SCENES**
Mrs.Weasley and Mrs.Black both screaming at the top of their voices after Fred and George accidentally knock down Ginny.

Ron trying to get inside the girls' dormitories.

Dobby wearing most of the hats, scarves, and socks Hermione had knitted with Hedwig at the topmost bobble. (i love this one!)

Umbridge and Filch trying in vain to stop Fred and George's fireworks spreading all over Hogwarts. (LOL!)

Fred and George's spectacular exit from Hogwarts. (brilliant, as they would say!)

Ernie MacMillan interrogating people about their study schedules. (omg! lol)

Ron making clip-clopping noises and Umbridge looking around wildly. (hahaha!!!)

lol.gif as you can see, IMO there are many, many funny moments throughout the whole book. i always laugh even if its the 100th time that im re-reading!

OotP was definitely one of the funniest books in the series - that was one of my disappiontments with the movie. A lot of the humor did not make it in...I understand why, I'm just saying....

The scene I read over and over and brought me to tears was Harry and Ron writing (or should I say concocting) their (laughing hysterically while I am typing this..) dream interpretations for divination. The stuff they make up just cracks me up!!
