I think it will be sooner rather than later, perhaps as soon as the weekend after Easter, or Jo may decide to space things out more, and it might be another month or so. But basically, we are just guessing.

I'm thinking Apr1, May1, Jun1 for 3 levels of tests, with the title coming in June (as before) after the third level--though I hope it's sooner!

I think may 1st as well, I think we'll have 3 tests in total and if the third is in June by the time we get our results from it, it will probably be half way through the month and I think we are going to find out the title of book 7 as our reward (or a release date) either would be good

May 1st sounds logic to me too... It would be so cool to finally hear something about book 7. Personally I'm hoping the title will be released !

I think we'll have an exam opened on the 31st of each month until July 31st (a big, important day!) when it will either be the final exam, or the payoff for the exams, like the title or release date.

I'm going with the idea of the first of every month... I'm so angry that I missed the first one though! Honestly, the one week I don't go on the website... At least I have the time to reread the books again. :-)

Does anyone else think we might be getting another test at midnight, GMT? I think others had mentioned that there might be three levels of the WOMBAT, and since we had the last one on Apr1, perhaps we will get the next one on May1? Anyone else see any hints/evidence of this?

No, I think that if WOMBAT2 was going to be available on 1st May, it would have been available from late on Friday afternoon (WOMBAT1 started at about 7pm BST on 31st March). I suspect we will have to wait at least another week for the door to open, quite possibly longer.

awh, i was all set for the test tonight, even had a topic posted for everyone to post how they got on...dissappointed nothing happened. anyone else log on at midnight???

I have been giving the wombat tests alot of thought.

How about:

wombat 1 was 1st april one most fun day to play tricks and also the weasly twins birthday

wombat 2: 31st July harry Birthday also one of his fav days

wombat 3: 31st November. Halloween, one Harrys fav days

Our clue to the next book: Christmas Day which is also a day Harry looks forward to.

The last three major events happened on these days in the books, Maybe we are waiting for our major event??

mmh..I've given up guessing, i think we just have to wait and see, i dont think she has a certain time or date anymore, I think maybe she will set the 2nd test whenever she feels like it....

they're test(s) that JK has started giving. They quiz you on the hard stuff on harry potter. The last and first one was on April First. We don't know when the next one will be.

Well, I think that they're going to be on some random dates. But I hope it will not be April 1 (but actually March 31) - July 31 - Halloween - Christmas. That'll just take too long! I think that we'll get the title 'round summer. But please, no new WOMBAT test this upcoming week! Then I'll be in Poland, probably with little to none internet access. But after that, any time will do (though rather sooner than later of course!).

even when she does set the test what kind of stuff do you think she'll ask. Never saw the other one and was wondering do yyou need to read anything other than the hp books 1 through 6

Based on questions in the last one, I would also read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages. It wouldn't hurt to read through information on www.jkrowling.com, too.

For when it will be, here is my theory. 16 months until July '07 including april for first WOMBAT. Divided by seven tests is a little over two months. We might get the next in early-mid June.

It is hard for people who dont have the WOMBAT member nomber to take the test like me.

You can't take the test even if you do have a number. That was only possible for 4 days at the beginning of April. The number only gets you the results of your exam.

I was REALLY mad that i missed the other one- there is really only 1 computer i can use at my house.... the one day I don't check, then of course, I miss this whole WOMBAT thing! ( Just my luck- wheres some Felix potion when you need it?)

I really want her to put out a new test soon, but i am afraid that i will miss it because i am going to clear lake for chunks of weeks during the summer and i can only go online like once a week. AHHHHH! I hope she does it soon!

I'm really thinking that it won't be until at least next month, because JK has a habit of updating her website not very often, but when she does it's always interesting and significant.

I think that she will release the next one by the end of this month...or maybe perhaps her birthday?

She may choose to have the next W.O.M.B.A.T. on her b-day or maybe on June 21st, the summer solistice. Just a thought.

I wonder if she actually has a date in mind... she said she made the first wombat questions herself, so I suppose she'll just post part 2 once it's finished too. Seeing she made so many questions in the first part I think it might take a while...
