Based on the Warner Brother’s Harry Potter Film Series that captivated Audiences Worldwide!
WARNER BROTHER's Proudly Announces the OPENING of the HARRY POTTER RIDE!
You have been given an opening day ticket. You are one of the few lucky people to ride the Harry Potter Ride for the FIRST TIME! Your nerves are tingling, and you just can't seem to stand in one spot. You feel you can't contain the Excitement!
Mrs. J.K.Rowlings is there to cut the ribbon to open the ride. Even her kids are excited.
You are in this First group to ride it!
What would the ride be, based on what you have read, then SEEN in the Warner Brother’s Films. What type of ride would make you make you get your family get up at 5 a.m. to drive to the place to be on time for the opening? A ride that you also have a repeat ticket for: Not only are you riding it for the first time; but you get the thrill of the second ride as well.
What is your DREAM RIDE that Warner Brother’s could create, that would have you talking for months, or weeks in advance of it opening?
This is related to How Warner’s would re-interpret their Film Version. So this would in fact be a film tie-in. Since Warner Brother’s would be using a combination of Technology to enhance your own personal memory of what you have seen in the film versions.
The new State-of-Art rides, use a combined element of High Definition film, Multi-Action from Animatronics, and live Actors, plus computer design to get you involved into the world you already love.
Those who have been on the Star Wars Adventure, The Indiana Jones Rides, and now Pirates of the Caribbean (which, actually the ride came before the film) know that you can have quite a bit of fun on them.
______________________________________
I personally loved Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. I was disappointed if either was shut down for maintenance. They were the priority rides as a child.
I especially loved Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, because you drove through walls, and went through fireplaces, and caused all sorts of trouble from your wreck less driving. That ride always put me in a dangerously good mood.
I also loved Alice in Wonderland, with it’s neon, and very strange dream world.
I loved the Peter Pan’s Flight, just for the moment of flying out of the window, to see London moving beneath my flying ship cart. This florescent night lit attraction just made me feel like flying over the city as a small child. Did not like the rest of the ride so much, but wished I would have had more of a chance to fly more over London.
All of these rides I mentioned above were, or are now, based on Films and Animation.
Then Tomorrowland announced they were opening Space Mountain. I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait till the next trip to California to go when it did open. My Birth Parents refused to take me to any other Amusement park – so besides Lagoon in Utah, with the wooden roller coaster, I did not know what a huge roller coaster was like till I was 20.
I was so excited that the over an hour wait seemed to go in no time. It was magical for me.
I loved space series like Space 1999, and UFO, and I always wanted to take a rocket (now shuttle) into space. So when the ride made the turn on the track out of the spaceport, and the cart tilted back, getting ready to be shot into space, the nerves of my body were all firing at once. Then, the cart turned at the top, and you dropped into a Planetarium of shooting stars.
As a small child I loved going to the Planetarium, to see the Star Show, as well as LAZER ROCK – hehehe… now when I think about it, is very funny. I always had a fantasy of wanting my room to be like a Planetarium – and the Space Mountain brought that childhood dream alive for me for a brief moment.
True, Disneyland had the Matterhorn Bobsled’s, which I liked more as a child, because you were in this dark cavern, and then the roller coaster took you through all the winding passageways, in, and out of the mountain. I never have been on the updated ride. My partner at the time said they were bored with Disneyland, so they took me to Magic Mountain when I was 22. This was my first exposure to big thrill rides.
This changed my perspective completely. I enjoy both Theme Parks, and High Thrill Parks. This summer I rode Goliath at Walibi World in The Netherlands. I still have the picture of me laughing. I never had been on a ride where I felt more like I was flying. I was so happy, so incredibly happy. It was such a freeing moment for me. I also had this perspective in my mind that – This is something like what it would be like to ride a broom in the sky, from Harry Potter.

Goblet of Fire: First Task:
“Accio Firebolt!” & “The Hungarian Horntail” Roller Coaster dual ride’s:
You pick which Roller Coaster you want to ride first, then catch the other. It’s a double perspective Roller Coaster Ride. Also, it has never been done before in any Amusement park on the level I Dream about doing it.

I keep watching that part of Goblet of Fire, and if there is a HP roller coaster ride - I would stand in line for that, many times in fact for both of them. It would be a similar terrain and style as The Goblet of Fire Film.
The Entry for “Accio Firebolt!” is done to enhance the anticipation of what Harry must of felt before the challenge. You heard the roars, and can sense the fire, and the loud sound of the whipping track. The tradition on this ride is – the Roller Coaster is pulled back for the air compression system. When it stops – people yell “ACCIO FIREBOLT!” at the top of their lungs, as the Roller Coaster takes off. This is something that people make a tradition of doing when going on the ride!
“Accio Firebolt!”
The “Accio Firebolt!” is now shooting out at tremendous speed, in winding loops, while the Fire Breathing Hungarian Horntail Shoots out balls of fire. The Animatronic Hungarian Horntail is over 5 stories tall. It rotates, and tries several times to get you. After completing the loops to barely escape the balls of fire, then “Accio Firebolt!” - breaks through the stands; then the “Hungarian Horntail” Roller Coaster – races after “Accio Firebolt!” on another track.
Two entwined Roller Coasters with different thrills, loops, and one with a very nasty drop.
The Entry for “Hungarian Horntail” is quite different. You are in the Dragon’s den, in the Mountain.
So the theme is suited for that. What the difference is – is there are Wizards trying to stop you from breaking out of the cavern. So when you take off, there are many red lazer lights shooting out at the “Hungarian Horntail” to try to prevent your escape. This causes a disorientation distraction to make the thrill even more intense as it shoots out at top speed, from the dark cavern into the light.
Loaded on a spring coil, but faster that “Accio Firebolt” at first. This is due to the fact that the “Accio Firebolt” does more winding loops at first, in the area with the Fire Breathing Hungarian Horntail. So this one you feel like you shoot out right into the sky –
“Hungarian Horntail”
So this one you feel like you shoot out right into the sky – 10 stories or higher anyone?
“Hungarian Horntail” - then chases after the “Accio Firebolt”, like the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire– making several different passes, where you almost catch it. So it is two Roller Coasters racing after each other.
Then both Roller Coasters pass Hogwart’s. The tracks cause both the Roller Coasters to stop on a tilt – the “Hungarian Horntail” higher than the “Accio Firebolt”. Then both Roller coasters have a drop (like Harry Potter trying to get his broom, slides down the side of the castle roof).
The Drop is scary. The “Accio Firebolt” pulls out of it, but the “Hungarian Horntail” continues the drop, the longest in Roller Coaster History. Then the “Hungarian Horntail” glides back into the Mountain to again pick up more riders.
The “Accio Firebolt” however does a backwards flip twist in the tracks, to avert the longer drop – that is the thrill of this ride as well – then does a double loop around the original area of Grandstands (outside of the loop circle – so that the tracks and action does not confuse the riders with the beginning of the ride – BUT they hear the jets of fire, and the screams of the riders – so as to replicate what Harry must have heard before he did his task once again. This re-affirms that “Challenge of Tasks” feelings that now other people are facing the Hungarian Horntail. This makes the riders want to do the ride again.

How about you? What ride would you like? I will submit more ideas once other people contribute their ideas on rides. Give it a shot. Even if you have a hard time describing the motions – give us a general idea – and it’s relation to the Harry Potter Books, Films, and Gaming.
Make it as thrilling as possible!
Cheers,
Helyx
What Would the Harry Potter World be like – if Warner Brother’s Developed into it’s own Amusement Park – or Developed it for another Amusement Park Chain?
