We know Leaky members are awesome at making avatars and so we are asking for your help again!

At this link you will find a new Gallery album for avatars for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The staff have made a few fabulous creations but we want more - lots more!!

Post them in this thread and we will add them for everyone to see.

Kwati, here are some instructions to help you, and anyone else, in getting a DH avatar from our Gallery

.

* First of all choose the avatar you would like to use and then right-click and "save image as". This saves it to your computer images.

* Next you have to register with an image hosting site such as photobucket.

* Upload the image from your computer to the hosting site - it will then appear on your hosting site directory and will automatically give you a URL address.

* Go into "Your Control Panel" here on the Lounge - you will find this at the top of your screen. Then on the left side menu, choose "Edit Avatar Settings".

* You then copy the URL of your avatar, into the URL space, click on "update avatar" and you have your image.

I hope this helps.

I completely forgot about this avatar--the first one I did when I saw the title! A gift from Jo, a child's game . . . or is it a game? I think it's a big clue . . . if only I could figure out what it means.

Here's one where I interpreted the title to mean something along the lines of Godric's Hollow. The font is a little hard to see, but I tried my best.

looking back at this, you can't really read the words. And the offcenter-ness didn't turn out how I wanted it to. Not sure why I'm sharing this, I don't really like it....oh well. Any help, helps!

well, im not too keen on the text, but for some reason my copy of photoshop CS is freezing everytime i try to add text, so it was an import to word and mess around with text boxes, before importing back into photoshop thing so i think it'll have to do for now.

That is so cool! Is that a Dementor behind the column? I wonder if we will see them in the final book . . . since there is that theory about Harry's scar being a horcrux, and using the Dementors to remove Voldemort's soul fragment . . . *shudder*

Those are really nice jbjeans

, but they need to be resized. Signature banners must not exceed 200 X 100 pixels. (Leaky rules)

OMG, I absolutely LOVE yours, Daisy_Bramble! And there are so many other great ones here! I have a question. How do you make slides on an avatar? Do you need photoshop? Cuz Im prob gonna get it soon to make some of my own.

LizetM- The second one is a bit plain, and I like the third one. I've never seen Pan's Labyrinth, though I want to.

hpboy13- I wonder the same thing. I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 and still can't manage to figure it out.

Thanks! I was thinking it might be a bit hard to read, ah welll. Do you have anymore DH avatars that you havn't posted? Because I wanted to see the ones on xanga, but you need to have an account.

Snufflespup- I actually can't remember what icons I've already put up here, and to be completely honest I'm too lazy to look! So I'll add my five favorite, sorry if I've put them all up already!

And of course, my personal icon is my favorite.
They're a bit boring, and not even that good. But ah well. I haven't been in much of an icon-making-creative-type mood lately.

As threatened: my new Deathly Hallows avatars with the emphasis switched from the hallows (IMHO the horcruxes made from artifacts of the founders) to deathly. . .

I have to admit this aspect of the title worries me very much.

luna_lupin7, your's are so colorful! I like last Deathly Hallows one.

I have a couple of my own.There was a member with this amazing line in their signature, so I asked them if I could turn it into an Avatar. I didn't want to do anything fancy with it because it's a very powerful statement.

Hagiographer13- I like the second one a lot. It kinda reminds me of what my impression is of the book.
MonieLou- That is so awesome! I love the text!! I like how you did it in two different colors.
Snufflespup- I like it except it seems a little mixed up as far as where things go. Like there's a lot of black at the bottom, and then white text at the top. I'm not sure how to explain it. I do like it though.
