The results from the first TLC FanArt Gallery Icontest are up and the second one is in full swing.

I really liked the added background to the Artist's Choice--very cool!

Well done to all of you, they're all superb. I have to say that Third Place was actually my favourite it is just so beautiful and really portray's Sirius' feelings at that pinacle point of his life.

Wow, am I stupid! I just realized that the first and judges choice were the same original picture!
I love how Kimmy added that background in, and I agree with VoodooPadfoot that I enjoyed the third place entry as well.

I really liked KimmyBlair's 2nd place one, the way it's been cropped is really nice and the font is great too

Theses are always really good, i wouldnt have known which to vote for.

Maybe it's just my computer but none of the icons are showing up. They're all little red X's.

What browser are you using? Several folks using Internet Explorer reported similar problems.

Either way, I recommend clearing your bowser cache and restarting the browser to see if that fixes the problem. Good luck!

All I want to say is this a very awesome group of icons. Everyone did a great job!

oh no, cant see the images and i have safari so not the internet explorer problem.

Well I tried it on IE and AOL and neither worked - but they're showing up fine on my other computer (using IE). Thanks for the tip though! I'll try it when I get a chance.

All I can say about the icons is WOW! Great job everyone!

The icons are also not showing up on my computer, and I am using firefox

EDIT: yay! they are working

We are working on this issue guys... If you can not currently view the images please try another browser, or computer (if you can).

If not we are working on an alternative! Hopefully we will have something soon.

These are all great! It was hard to choose!

The decision was hard this week. I like the fact that most people chose a picture of Ron!
I wish I could have voted for more than one as I had three favourites. We'll just have to see if those three win.

I agree with all of the people who said how hard it was to vote! I was so excited about the turnout, both quality wise, and number wise. A bit thank you to everyone who participated!

I wanted to share with the iconers and fans here what our FanArtist for these avatars, Lillywmw, had to say as she prepares to choose her favourite for the "Artist's Choice Award" --

All of the images are simply fantastic and I had a very difficult time voting, but the one I chose is simply breathtaking! And the colors are amazing!

I have to say, the avatars for this contest were great! It was really hard choosing my favorite. I loved the Judge's Choice icon by Hagiographer13, it was one of my favorites.

I found it very interesting that the four winning icons used two of the same pieces of art! Even though they did use the same art they were both interpreted in different ways, which I found great!

I did two! It's very interesting! I must say that I loved your icon, KimmyBlair. If it was my choice, even though I am biased, I would have chosen yours to win, so I was actually surprised by the results...

On the same note as the winning icons using the same three pieces of art, I noticed that the three icons using the snitch all had borders around them! That really shows that great minds think alike!

Kim, and Jeff I LOVED your icons! Kim the background on yours is AMAZING and I really wish that I could do stuff like that but I have know idea how! Jeff I love how you (and Kim too) can make borders look good. I can never get them to look right! Oh and Jeff I love the brush that you used for the iHarry icon. I like it alot!
