Windows 7 Beta is coming Tomorrow (January 9th 2009). I've been following them with the latest previews, and news. The videos REALLY impress me. The task bar is more like a Dock, and wow... can't express my excitement.
It all started this morning when Steve Balmer announced the Beta that comes tomorrow... Then I started watching these Videos and I'm actually impressed! Honestly, I might actually install Windows Live Messenger! Well, I can't wait to get home tomorrow. I'll start the download before i go to school... The Future is almost here. Gnome and KDE will have some catching up to do? No, since microsoft does what they're best, they ripped off a lot from the competition again What do you think? Thank you, Crazy<Clone http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7...s.aspx?vindex=7 http://wm.istreamplanet.com/customers/ms/7..._ces_090107.asx EDIT: Turns out, it was their cool press conference that pulled it off, for me at least. They're good at the business [of ripping people off]. Their Press conference [with no sweaty Balmer] actually made me believe this was a worthy product. Turns out Windows 7 is just like Vista (but a finished version). You might wonder why they didn't release it with a service pack? Read their History of ripping off.
