I agree with most everybody. Anything inspires me. I remember coming up with a whole story based on a song I had stuck in my head--and I didn't copy a story from the song (more like made a story that the song would fit in). And sometimes I'll read books or watch movies/shows and a particular minor thing about the story that wasn't focused on very much or paid attention to strikes me as interesting, then I write a whole story about that particular feeling/idea (with different plots/characters, I try very hard not to copy or plagiarize).

But if I had to pick one thing that inspires me most, it's definitely music. Drawing helps me with ideas too for some reason.

Sometimes a certain song would be inspiring enough to begin a story (especially for someone like me who loves music).. But then, it would also need some relevant events in our everyday lives, and most especially the people involved in those events. Of course, a little bit of imagination would do. Try and see it for yourself. biggrin.gif

I'm a very imaginative person. My imagination goes overdrive before I sleep. Once an idea comes up in my mind, it's harder for me to sleep. biggrin.gif I'll just keep on adding and adding scenes and then put them in paper the next day. BUT I never finish anything!! sad.gif(

Yeah, sometimes it comes from slow, meaningful songs too. Usually a love story. smile.gif
