I was driving down the M4 motorway (south of England) at the weekend when I passed a small red lorry emblazoned with the logo "Dragon Rescue" and I (of course) first thought of Charley Weasley! tongue.gif

It was acutually a breakdown recovery vehicle according to the small print on the side, but I think my first reaction was justified! rolleyes.gif

So what have you come across in the real (muggle) world that has instantly made you think of Harry's magical world?

And did it make you wonder if maybe, just maybe, it could all be real?

I saw a Lord Snape on the BBC 10 o'clock news last night. He was a peer of the House of Lords and was ranting on about boring old MP's expenses, but I thought he could be a relation of Snape's dad Tobias. snape.gif He was a greying man in his sixties and built like a rugby player.

Also Brymorg's recollection of his National Express experience, made me remember a coach journey I took with them the year before last, on my Christmas holidays at Bradford uni when I was going back home for a few weeks. Normally this coach journey takes about 6-7 hours in total, but this one only took about 5. It was a overnight coach cos I found that those are usually quiet and the drivers on those coaches don't bother about my giant holdall on wheels (wish I could make my luggage light like Harry) which I usually manage to fit my stuff in. I recall stopping at the numerous stops in Sheffield, but we seemed to have bypassed Coventry completely and Heathrow was a haze. The coach driver seemed to have been possessed by the spirit of Ernie Prang, or perhaps he was a relative. I've never been in a coach that has travelled so fast. I was glad to get off the coach at my destination I can tell you. ohmy.gif
