Do you or anyone else resemble an HP character (and not just the trio)?, Which HP scenes do you relate the most to?

Are there any people you know, that really resemble HP characters? Could be appearance, character, way of thinking, etc. Did that change your views on certain characters in the books, or on the people you know?

The idea for this thread came to me because I know a woman that could REALLY be the Prototype of Umbridge- Girlie, fluffy, with a soft swweet voice, and bigot, racist , bully, incompetent, abusing her power, enjoying the discomfort and humiliation of those she considers inferior to her - I was unfortunate to be one of them... Well, when I read Ootp, i was like WTF? How does JO know her??? huh.gif

I also know (and used to be a god friend of) a boy who was so much like Draco Malfoy it's unbelievable. huh.gif He was arrogant, over his head, and a bully(well, not to his friends, though, and we didn't approve of that behaviour), oh yes, and a rich kid as well. He was also a verbal bully, not a physical person, and a coward in many situations. Anyway, I was a friend of that guy (well, he had lots of positive traits as well, although if you ask people he didn't like, they will tell you something different), for quite a long time. Then he got in a very bad situation, due to his arrogance, bad decisions and unwary actions, and he was absolutely terrified when he realised what he got himself into. He ended up in prison when he was only 18, and spent two or three years there (not quite sure), and was quite a different person when he came out.
Well, this person and the fact that I liked him very much, made me like Draco as well. Because my friend's family was quite disfunctional, I thought there's something wrong with tha Malfoys as well (which was proved wrong in DH),etc.

So, do you know any people just like HP characters, and has this affected the way you see these characters in the books? rolleyes.gif

I didn’t know about love, and Harry’s mom did. And she died. And then Harry was all “I am SO living!” and I was all “Oh, you are SO NOT, baby!” and he was all “Oh yeah? Try it!” and I was all “Ok, fine!” and so I did. And then he was all “Yeah, whos what now, bizatch?” and I was all “*deadness*”.

That'd be horrible to know an Umbrige. I've never met anyone so horrid, thankfully.

Anyway, I have a friend who reminds me a lot of Ginny. They're both pretty, athletic, and accepting of those who are a little off beat. Even the way my friend talks reminds me of Ginny. Also, both have a huge temper (that is usually set off by their brother).

My Grandma reminds me of Molly Weasley, as well. I think a lot of people can relate to her.

I had a professor in college who reminds me of Flitwick. He's very short with a squeaky voice.

I know this is for the characters not the actors, but my mom's friend's son looks just like a blond version of Daniel Radcliffe. He's even got the goofy smile.

I know a teacher that is like Umbridge. My Chemistry teacher, she is short and has beedy eyes but not in appearence. She is nasty and has old fashioned 'punishment' methods. She does the 'Hem Hem' thing but it's more of a 'Hrrm Hrm!' and it's really creepy.

I know a friend that resembles Daniel Radcliffe!
I thought "naah" at first until he got in an arguement with another kid and that kid called him Harry Potter.
So I must've been right.

One of the academical secretaries at my secondary school looked a lot like McGonagall, suffice to say that my sister and I both imagined McGonagall just like her.
Then I had a teacher that looked like Umbridge (no pink cardigans or squeeky voice), the funny thing is that she was a real Hagrid as a proffesor tongue.gif ...

My brother looks like how Harry Potter should look, not like Daniel Radcliffe. He has the jet black hair, glasses and sometimes his eyes are green but sometimes their gray. Also he is really tall and slender. But today I was walking to one of my classes when I saw this boy that looks like a young Snape. His hair isn't greasy but its longer and is jet black and he had a funny nose, poor kid.

There was a clatter as the basilisk fangs cascaded out of Hermione's arms. Running at Ron, she flung them around his neck and kissed him full on the mouth. Ron threw away the fangs and broomstick he was holding and responded with such enthusiasm that lifted Hermione off her feet. Page 625
