Welcome to Jo's Book Nook, and our discussion of Northanger Abbey, by Jane Austen. We hope that you enjoyed reading this book, and we look forward to discussing it with you.
 You don't need to be sorted or join any special list in order to participate in this book club, just jump in and enjoy the discussion! Before we begin, there are a couple of points to address...  Firstly, we ask you to abide by all of Leaky's Rules. Secondly, it is assumed that everyone who participates in this book club has read Northanger Abbey so there is no need for spoiler bars.  This book club is planned to run until 7 November, at which time we will move to the next book, which you can vote for in this thread. We also have a thread here about the future of the Book Nook where you can vote. Feel free to post any questions you have in this thread, you may also contact any of the Book Nook moderators by PM - you'll see our names below - if you prefer. This is your forum, and you are welcome to begin threads about the topics that interest you about Northanger Abbey. If you need help in starting a topic or in writing your opening post just send one of us a message and we'll be happy to help.
