Welcome to Jo's Book Nook and our discussion of The Catcher in the Rye, by J D Salinger. We hope that you enjoyed reading this book, and we look forward to discussing it with you. group.gif

You don't need to be sorted or join any special list in order to participate in this book club, just jump in and enjoy the discussion!

Before we begin, there are a couple of points to address... note.gif

Firstly, we ask you to abide by all of Leaky's Rules.

Secondly, it is assumed that everyone who participates in this book club has read The Catcher in the Rye so there is no need for spoiler bars. ninja.gif

This book club is planned to run until 5 December, at which time we will take a break during December. January's book will be I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith.

Feel free to post any questions you have in this thread, you may also contact any of the Book Nook moderators by PM - you'll see our names below - if you prefer.

This is your forum, and you are welcome to begin threads about the topics that interest you about The Catcher in the Rye. If you need help in starting a topic or in writing your opening post just send one of us a message and we'll be happy to help.

If you'd like to see a topic here but don't want to start it yourself post here and one of us, or perhaps one of the other members, will take it on to start it.
