It was 11:01am NZST when DH came out here, I was at the DH book release party at Dymocks bookstore in Wellington. It also happened to be my first ever release party too, I kept missing the earlier ones. I dressed up as a generic witch, wearing my Slytherin locket and Peverell ring replicas(which were my own creation)to boot. I got interviewed by Radio New Zealand and I think I still have the photos that were taken by a newspaper photographer during the event somewhere.

I was at the exact same place, waiting in line wearing a DH t-shirt I had made for the event. We were towards the front of the line (I was with friends) and we had a photo taken for the paper as well as copious amounts of sugary foods. I got the book pretty promptly, walked through town to meet another friend at another bookstore, read the book from the moment I left the bookstore to about six hours later, when I was a complete wreck in my bedroom with only a dark chocolate bar to keep me company. It was amazing.
Dymocks did such a fab job with the release, they had a great party for HBP too.

Ohhhh, I was the girl in the purple cloak, black hat and wielding a wooden staff. I also had a sword thrust through my belt. Did you see me?
